Baptism-Morbid Wings of Sathanas (2005)

The second full length from Finnish black metal powerhouse Baptism. As always, a very solid, memorable slab of black metal in the same melodic vein as Satanic Warmaster. Highly recommended if SW and Goatmoon and the like are your bag. Northern Heritage.

    Baptism belongs to the top ten BM bands from Finland along with such great hordes...Urgent to listen especially first two full length pieces and Wisdom & hate EP!!! No useless decorations or planning, just pure expression of emotions from which BM was born. Hatred and aggression in raw parts, melancholy and sadness in beautiful melodies, all those in cloak of sound of darkness.
