Candlemass-Epicus Doomicus Metallicus (1986)

An absolute landmark for the doom genre, and the beginning of Candlemass's climb to the top of the doom pile, Epicus Doomicus Metallicus is exactly what it professes to be: fuckin' epic doom metal. Wonderful, dark and gloomy atmosphere pervades this release, mixed with absolutely skull-crushing riffs that would make Iommi proud. If you are a metal fan, regardless of genre, you should already have the first couple Candlemass albums; but if you don't, here's your chance for salvation. Highly recommended. Black Dragon.

3. Crystal Ball  5:23
